Great for baking or hot stone grilling. Due to its porous nature the stone helps absorb moisture, resulting in a crisp crust. Place two next to each other for a larger baking surface. As recommended by Jamie Oliver from the Pizza chapter in "Jamie at Home": buy yourself a pizza stone from a good cook shop or a thick piece of marble or granite.
